Having Fun on My Luna

The Luna has given me my riding legs back! I was an amateur avid cyclist up until 2 years ago when I developed Achilles tendonitis and something called Tarsal Tunnel syndrome (similar to Carpal Tunnel, except in the ankle/foot). Having had 2 surgeries on the same leg in the past year, I did not think I would ever be able to cycle again. That, coupled with the aches and pains of getting older (I am 52), made it impossible to get back on my traditional bike.
The Evelo Luna with the NuVinci hub is the most "awesome" riding experience. Using the pedal assist with short occasional bursts from the throttle, flattens out all of the hilly roads in the area where I live. Before you know it, 20 miles of FUN have passed! I now have a bike that I can get on everyday, get my daily fix of exercise and love it!
The only problem I/we have had is that my husband couldn't keep up with me so he ordered an Aurora model!
